The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. I have a hard time with positive thinking, too. I like to use adaptive thinking instead. When you have to run in 90 degrees, telling yourself that you are going to have the best run ever is simply denial, and might get you in trouble by not making a plan as to how to deal with the situation. Using adaptive thinking, you can make a plan, run at a slower pace, find some ice along the way, etc. Adaptive thinking also entails acceptance that the run will be uncomfortable at times, and that is OK, because you can handle it.
